Barcelona socios approve the 2020-21 season finances of 481m losses
It was an ugly time in the financial aspect among others for the Catalan giants
Barcelona’s AGM have approved the finance numbers from the 2020-21 season. The club recorded 481 million in losses. The result was 637 votes in favour (89%) and 39 unfavourable (5%). There were 42 null votes.
Barcelona’s economic vice president Eduard Romeu said the numbers were “apocalyptic” but with work could be turned around.
The end of the previous season saw the club record 224 million in losses. Meanwhile, the club owe 1.136 million euros.
Laporta recognised these were not good numbers. “The worst in Barca’s history.”
