Barcelona rule out Ferran Torres exit in the summer transfer window

Barring an unexpected twist in the script, Ferran Torres will remain in the FC Barcelona first-team squad this season. The attacker from Foios has had it clear from the outset he wants to stay and the fact that he did not play a single minute at the Coliseum against Getafe has not made him change his mind. 

The Valencian forward is looking forward to wearing the No.7 shirt that Ousmane Dembélé left vacant this season. He's in top form physically, as he showed in pre-season, and wants to prove to Xavi that he deserves to be in the limelight. 

POSSIBLE EXIT

It is true that throughout the summer rumours of a possible exit have been flying around the market, but from the player's side there has not been an ounce of doubt. 

Barça are aware that if they want to bring in Joao Félix at the end of the summer they have tp move out a forward. And right now, between Ferran or Ansu, if someone should end up leaving the balance falls more on the side of the latter. 

ANSU WANTS TO STAY

But Ansu has no intention of leaving either, even though he knows that it will not be easy for him to get playing time. Another thing is what his agent, Jorge Mendes, or his father Bori think. But he has it clear. 

We will see, returning to Ferran, if he can have his first official minutes this season against Cadiz on Sunday. Either as a possible substitute for the suspended Raphinha or as an impact substitute in the second half.
