Barcelona respond to Florentino Perez over VAR

Florentino Perez has been a protagonist in recent days for his complaints about VAR to RFEF president Luis Rubiales.
Barcelona did not like this and Josep Vives, the club spokesman, spoke about it on Tuesday.
“The truth is that we need a bit of calm, in one way it can take away a bit of passion, which we know is the motor of football, but we have to be cooler, more analytic and see situations from another point of view,” said Vives after a board meeting.
“We can analyse its work without passion, from a calm point of view, and tranquility, we need it.
“We understand it’s being developed but we are happy because it improves the refereeing as the referee has an extra tool. We defended it before, and now.
“There were people who said football didn’t need a tool like this, that football worked before how it was, but we believe that it is very positive.”
