The young forward has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou recently

Barcelona president Joan Laporta insists the club are not planning to sell young forward Ansu Fati in the summer.

Ansu has remained injury free this season after a tough few years but has struggled for regular minutes in Xavi Hernandez's side.

That has led to rumours of a move to the Premier League, but Lapoarta says the club have faith in the Spain international.

"His agent (Jorge Mendes) has been here recently but Ansu is a Barcelona a player and we have a lot of hope deposited in him," he saidthursday.

"We are not aware of any movements on the player's part."

Barça coach Xavi Hernnadez recently called for "patience" as Ansu still recovers full fitness following a string of unfortunate injuries.
