Barcelona prepare final offer for the Bayern Munich striker Lewandowski

The Polish striker has made it clear he wants to move to Camp Nou

Barça will push for the signing once they activate the first palanca

After months of planning, it's time for Barcelona to finalise the signing of Robert Lewandowski. It seemed a pipe dream, but Barça always believed an operation would be possible and they are now one step away from signing the best No.9 in the world.

The final offensive, negotiations between Barça and Bayern Munich, will begin next week. Barça will present their final offer to try and close the deal. There is optimism because Bayern have opened the door to a sale and the objective is to pay a fair price.

THE COST OF 'LEWY'

Barça have sounded out a deal through Lewandowski's agent, Pini Zahavi, who has held talks with Bayern. The German club have gone from not wanting to listen to offers to wanting around €50 million, a figure Barça consider excessive.

The Catalan club have maintained their silence, but want to make an offer that has little room for negotiation and forces a quick understanding, which is in everyone's interest.

Lewandowski has already communicated his desire to leave Bayern for Barça and the clubs are obliged to come to an agreement.

Barça will soon activate the first palanca, selling television rights, and movements can begin. Lewandowski is the first operation to deal with. Strategically and because Barça have promised him they will go all they can to sign him quickly -- he has more than played his part.
