Sign a keeper or use Inaki Pena as a Neto replacement, the two options

Barcelona are working on improving the squad for next season. There will be changes in each line of the team, including in goal. As they explained this week, they are looking for competition for Marc-Andre ter Stegen in goal.

The club will let Neto leave. He has asked to go multiple times and this time they will let him go for free. Barcelona have to check the small print of their deal with Valencia though, because it contained some variables.

Neto leaving would open the doors to a new keeper. There is debate over wether they should sign someone more experienced or use Inaki Pena. After his game against Barca for Galatasaray, Xavi praised the Alicante born stopper, who went on loan this winter to Turkey in search of minutes.

Inaki Pena has replaced Muslera in goal after his injure and made good saves at Camp Nou. In the summer he will return and could save Barcelona money on buying a Neto replacement.

On the other hand, young Portuguese goalkeeper Luis Maximiano has good reports from scouts watching him at Granada.
