Barcelona are willing to pay up to 160 million euros for Neymar, but not until 2020. That is the latest offer they have made PSG, who Barcelona will meet in the coming hours.
Barcelona want to loan Neymar and pay later so they can afford him. The fee would be paid in June next year. The question is if this fee would be obligatory or not.
What is clear is that Barcelona cannot afford to pay that fee right now having invested 250 million into the signings of Griezmann, De Jong, Neto and Junior Firpo.
Barcelona want to show, with this offer, they are determined to get Neymar and leave Real Madrid and Juventus behind - the Italians have also shown interest in the last few hours.
