Barcelona now know that Matthijs de Ligt will cost them 50 million euros. That’s what Tuttosport says Ajax will accept for their promising defender.
De Ligt has a contract until 2021 and Barcelona would hypothetically negotiate with Ajax next summer.
The defender is 19, and Barcelona want to make a double operation with Frenkie De Jong included too.
However Barcelona have competition from Roma, PSG and Juventus for De Jong.
Injury problems with Umtiti and Vermaelen have left Barcelona short in defence.
