Barcelona, not happy with Memphis Depay and Raphinha
There are some concerns about different aspects pertaining to the duo in the last few weeks
Some at Barcelona are not happy with the attitude of Memphis Depay and Raphinha. The Dutch player has taken longer than estimated to come back from injury after a hamstring problem, and some are suspecting he’s thinking more about the World Cup than the Barca calendar.
Everyone knows the World Cup is coming and risks of relapse after muscular injuries are high.
There has also been surprise internally at the dip Raphinha has had in form, losing his spot in Xavi’s line ups. The Brazilian started last in the Clasico and had just 16 mins against Villarreal and 33 against Bayern. He stayed on the bench against Athletic.
The club note that Raphinha has not scored or given any assists in the Champions League.
