Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic joins the centenary club
Rakitic scored his 100th career goal against Valencia
In total, he has scored 29 in Barcelona colours
Ivan Rakitic is not known as a goal scorer, but little by little throughout his career he's been chipping away and has now reached career 100 goals.
The Barcelona player celebrated the fact on social media, with the goals coming for a number of clubs: Basel, Schalke 04, Sevilla, FC Barcelona and the Croatian national team.

He was at Basel for two seasons and scored 11 times before joining Schalke in 2007-08, where he remained until the middle of the 2010-11 season. In Germany, he scored 16 goals.
Sevilla signed him for €1.5 million and he scored five goals in his first half season in Spain. In total, he scored 32 goals for the club before his move to Barça in 2014. In Catalonia, he has chipped in with 29 goals.
"Proud to reach 100 goals as a professional," he wrote. "Thanks to Basel, Schalke, Sevilla, Barcelona and Croatia for giving me the chance to enjoy what I like most; and to all my teamates and coaches; and to all of you for your support -- now to score some more!"
