Barcelona lose 12 players to international duty: when and where?
Messi, Pique and Alba will not be joining up with their respective countries
The first international break of the season is upon us and Barcelona will see 12 players depart to join up with their countries, with games taking place over the next week.
However, Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba are now among the players heading off on international duty. Messi is taking a break, Pique has retired and Alba has not been called up by Luis Enrique.
