Barça will wear the shirt in Sunday's final league game against Real Sociedad

Barcelona launched their new strip for the 2018/19 season on Saturday with a special event at the Olympic pool in Montjuic.

The players will wear the kit for the first time on Sunday, in the final league game of the season at Camp Nou against Real Sociedad, Andres Iniesta's last for the club.

The shirt will then be available to buy from May 21. It features 10 vertical Blaugrana stripe, more than usual, in homage to the 10 districts in the city: Sants-Montjuïc, Les Corts, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Eixample, Horta-Guinardó, Nou Barris, Eixample, Gràcia, Sant Martí, Ciutat Vella and Sant Andreu.

As a result, 10 players and season ticket holders, including Philippe Coutinho, were present wearing the new kits.

Before the shirt was officially revealed football 'freestyler' Sergi Martínez performed and there was a show from a synchronised swimming team which included Sara Gijon.

Finally, the diver Adria Garcia, Spain's triple champions, leapt into the pool as a large version of the shirt was airdropped from a drone in the big reveal.
