Xavi has once again filled the squad with reserve and U19 team players
FC Barcelona are looking to take another step towards the LaLiga title. After Real Madrid's defeat to Villarreal, the Blaugrana could move 15 points clear as leaders if they can beat Girona at Camp Nou on Monday. That is the main objective for Xavi Hernández's side. They will face an opponent that has improved in recent weeks and is capable of competing against anyone.
For the all-Catalan clash, Xavi will be without Pedri, Dembélé, Christensen and Frenkie de Jong, who are still recovering from their respective injuries -- four very important players for Barça. With the infirmary filling up, Xavi has once again turned to the reserve team and the U19s to complete the squad in the form of Casadó, Alarcón, Estanis and Aleix Garrido.
