Barcelona get rid of B team coach Garcia Pimienta!

Barcelona have decided to let B team coach Garcia Pimienta go after three years in charge of the club's reserve team, according to ESPN.

Pimienta has been working at Barça since 2006 in various roles at the academy. 

He was appointed the B team's assistant coach in 2015 before taking on the Juvenil A side (U19s) in 2017-18. 

In 2018, he was given the B team job and has led them to the playoffs in each of the last two seasons. 

However, Barca B have failed to get out of the third tier under his guidance and the club will now look for a new direction.

Pimienta's dismissal is part of a wider restructuring of the set up below the first team at Camp Nou.
