Barcelona fly to Malaga ahead of key clash at La Rosaleda
The Blaugrana will be hoping Madrid drop points before they play later
They will be able to watch the Madrid derby in their hotel in Malaga
Barcelona flew to Malaga on Saturday morning ahead of the league game at La Rosaleda where they're bidding to keep in the title race.
Luis Enrique's squad met at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper at 9.45h, before making their way to El Prat. From there they took a 10.30h flight which was due in Malaga at 12.00h.
Remember that Barça are without five players this weekend. Gerard Pique and Ivan Rakitic are suspended, while Aleix Vidal, Arda Turan and Rafinha are all injured -- Jordi Masip has once again been left out.
Therefore, B team players Carles Aleña and Alex Carbonell have been called up. Remember that the former has appeared as a substitute against Granada and Sevilla in the last week.
Once landed, the players will spend the afternoon at the Hotel Miramar. There they will be able to watch Real Madrid's game against Atletico Madrid -- as long as they're not having a siesta, as Luis Enrique joked he might.
