The Catalan club sold another 24.5% stake in Barça Studios to Orpheus Media

Barcelona hope to be able to register all their players with LaLiga after pulling their fourth palanca of the summer.

After selling 25% of their domestic media rights to Sixth Street in two packages and 24.5% of Barça Studios to Socios.com, the Catalan club have now sold another 24.5% of Barça Studios to Orpheus Media.

The total of the four palancas is over €700m and Barça now believe they are close to being able to register their five new signings and the contract renewals of Ousmane Dembele and Sergi Roberto.

"FC Barcelona announces the sale of 24.5% of Barça Studios to the company Orpheus Media, managed by Mr.Jaume Roures, an audiovisual production company with a long history of producing content, for 100 million euros," a statement said Friday.

"The agreement complements the one signed on 29 July with Socios.com and will help to accelerate the growth of the club's digital, NFT and Web.3 strategy.

"The sale was conducted under authorization of the General Assembly of FC Barcelona Members last October 23.

"With this investment the strategic partners in Barça Studios show confidence in the value of the project and the future of digital content in the world of sport."

Barça kick off their LaLiga season against Rayo Vallecano at Camp Nou on Saturday.
