The Catalans rescinded his contract but there were variables
Last summer Arturo Vidal left Barcelona to sign for Inter Milan. He had a year left on his deal but his high salary and not being in Ronald Koeman’s plans led to the club rescinding his contract so he could go. They got no money for him. Until now.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Barcelona will get 1 million euros in variables for Vidal’s move because Inter won Serie A.
The Chilean is a serial champion. He has won nine out of 10 leagues he has fought for since arriving at Juve in 2011. Four in four years with Juve, three in three with Bayern, one in two with Barca and now one out of one with Inter.
He has played 30 games this season for Inter, 23 in Serie A. It would have been more bar a knee injury at the start of March.
