The defender's not played since injuring his knee on loan at PAOK last season

Moussa Wague could end up in Ligue 1. According to 'Footmercato.com', the Senegal right-back, still owned by Barcelona, could join Lille before the transfer window closes.

The player has been offered to the French club and they are now weighing up an operation that would be worth €3 million to Barça.

Wague was on loan at PAOK last season but it ended early due to an injury to his knee and he's spent the whole of 2021 recovering.

The defender is training individually and is expected to get the green light to return to full training in September ahead of a return to competitive action soon after.

He has a contract at Camp Nou until 2023 and joined Barça in 2018 from KAS Eupen in exchange for €5m.
