It's not the first time the Catalan has been jeered. On several occasions with the Spanish national team, his own supporters have whistled him, forcing him to take the decision recently to announce that he will retire from international football after next summer's World Cup.
Pique is jeered for various reasons, among them comments he has made about Real Madrid.
