FC Barcelona have confirmed that Ousmane Dembele has an ankle sprain and tests on Monday revealed he will be out of action for 15 days.
Dembele was injured in Sunday's win over Leganes after opening the scoring and producing an electric display. At first, it looked like he'd injured his knee, too, but in the end it's just his ankle.
He will miss both legs of the Copa del Rey quarterfinal against Sevilla and league games against Girona and Valencia.
If things go to plan, he could then return for a potential Copa semifinal if Barça progress. If they don't, he would make his comeback against Athletic Bilbao at San Mames.
The injury comes with Dembele in his best form since he joined Barça. Against Leganes he was the best player on the pitch with Lionel Messi on the bench.
