Barcelona's last Champions League game in the 'old' Camp Nou
The Catalan club will play at Montjuic next season before returning in 2024
The Camp Nou as we know it has seen it's last ever Champions League game. With a 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich, Barcelona's bete noir, the Catalan club are now preparing for Europa League in the New Year.
And beyond this season, Barça will be playing their home games at Montjuic in the 2023-24 season as Camp Nou is renovated.
Therefore, presuming Barça qualify for the Champions League and there are no changes to the building schedule, it will not be until the 2024-25 season when Camp Nou can host Champions League football again.
Barça will hope by then they are able to compete with Europe's best once again. This is the second season in a row they have been knocked out in the group stages. They have not lifted the European Cup since 2015.
