Barcelona vs. Celta Vigo: Chadi Riad in squad as De Jong returns
Young defender Chadi Riad has been called up to cover absences in defence
Frenkie de Jong has been given the green light to return to the Barcelona squad to face Celta Vigo this weekend, while Chadi Riad has also been called up.
Barça will hope to retain top spot in LaLiga when they return to league action on Sunday following the midweek defeat to Inter Milan in the Champions League.
De Jong missed that game and the win over Mallorca after picking up an injury during the international break but is now fit again.
Elsewhere, Chadi Riad, the young defender from Barça Atletic, has been called to cover the absences in defence of Andreas Christensen, Jules Kounde, Ronald Araujo and Hector Bellerin.
The versatile Marc Casado also continues with the first team, with Franck Kessie and Memphis Depay also missing with injuries.
