Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde expects more signings this month

Ernesto Valverde said he's focused on the players he's already got in his squad but suggested there will be more signings at Barcelona this month. 

Barça are working on various deals after selling Neymar for 222 million euros, with Philippe Coutinho and Iñigo Martinez the top targets at the moment. Borussia Dortmund's Ousmane Dembele is also wanted. 

"I don’t know…" Valverde said in a press conference when asked if Coutinho or Dembele's profile would be a better fit for the club. 

"I have so many profiles of players here that are really good. We will see if there are new players. We already know that all clubs move up until the end of the transfer window.

"We know there are things we can chance. I am focused on what I have, though. Talking about what could be is absurd, throwing names in the air and seeing what falls."

Asked once again about Neymar's departure, he added: "Neymar, as I said the other day, has been a great player for Barca, for us, but now he’s not here and we must look forward.

"There is no point looking back at what’s happened, I have to look forward and focus on the players we have, see what problems comes up and resolve them."
