Barcelona bet on their Champions League XI against Villarreal
Valverde has gone for the team that beat PSV Eindhoven midweek
Barcelona want to take back top spot in La Liga and for that they must beat Villarreal on Sunday at Camp Nou and hope Sevilla slip up later on.
With the aim of pressuring the Andalusians, Barca will go out with the team they used in the Champions League 2-1 win at PSV in midweek, that sealed top spot in Group B.
Valverde has not rotated. He picked Ter Stegen in goal, behind a defence of Nelson Semedo, Gerard Pique, Clement Lenglet and Jordi Alba. In front are Sergio Busquets, Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal, with Leo Messi, Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele in attack.
