Barcelona believe that Juventus or Man United are behind Dembele issue
They think that one of those clubs has agreed to sign him in the summer for free
Barcelona are not happy with Dembele and his camp. Their strategy has been to waste time and leave Barcelona with nowhere to go. But they are most angry that Dembele did not want to listen to Chelsea, PSG or Tottenham to leave in the winter window and think that Juventus or Manchester United have agreed something with him for the summer.
Dembele’s agent Moussa Sissoko was no interested in working on an escape for him despite top level clubs showing interest. That implies something is arranged for next season already.
Man United did not make an offer for him curiously, even though in the last two summers they have made loan and transfer bids. That passivity was a surprise to Barcelona.
Now we’ll have to see what happens with Dembele’s freeze out of Barcelona’s squads and what happens next in the summer. The player has previously said that he wanted to stay but he would not lower his demands to make it happen.
