They won Group B with their 2-1 victory over PSV on Wednesday night

Whatever happens in the final game of the group phase, Barcelona have won Champions League Group B.

They sealed that with a 2-1 win at PSV on Wednesday and are also the team that has managed to win the group the most times.

Barca have won their group on 20 occasions, 12 in a row since the 2007-08 season.

Without a doubt Barca are one of the sides that have dominated the competition since it moved into its current format. Johan Cruyff's Dream Team won it for the first time in 1991-92 and Barca have added four titles since - 06, 09, 11, 15.

Since 2004-05, Barca have always reached the last 16, 15 seasons running, either as first or second, but in the last 12 they have won their groups even against teams as good as Juve, Man City, and in this edition Tottenham and Inter Milan.

That puts Barca ahead of Man United and Real Madrid, who have won their groups 16 times.

Now the next challenge is to get past the quarter-finals, which has been their limit in each of the past three seasons.

The draw for the last 16 takes place on December 17 in Nyon at UEFA headquarters.
