Barcelona 3-0 Levante: Welcome back Ansu Fati

The youngster scored the third goal in the club's best performance so far this season

This is more like it. In fact, it’s exactly like it. Barcelona waltzed past Levante for a comfortable win in La Liga on Sunday and Ansu Fati scored the third goal on his comeback from injury.

The young striker has missed close to a year with various knee problems, but came on for the final stages and capped it with a goal from distance.

Barcelona had done the hard work already, playing brilliantly, in particular youngsters Gavi and Nico in midfield.

Memphis Depay was unstoppable so that’s why Radoja cut him down in the box early on. The Dutchman coolly converted the penalty to put Barcelona ahead.

It was his compatriot Luuk de Jong who got the second, with the electric Sergino Dest playing him in and the striker finished well.

Levante barely had a sniff, they were outplayed comfortable and the second half was a carnival, with fans mainly waiting for Ansu’s promised appearance.

The forward entered the fray to great applause and then, dribbling towards goal, he fired off a low effort into the bottom corner.

He celebrated on Ronald Araujo’s shoulders before running into the stands to celebrate with his family. What a moment.
