Sergi Roberto and Lewandowski got the goals in the win at Camp Nou

Ferran Torres starred as Barcelona beat Cadiz 2-0 on Sunday to restore their eight point lead over Real Madrid at the top of LaLiga.

Sergi Roberto and Robert Lewandowski scored the goals at Camp Nou but it was Torres who stood out making his first start for a month.

He beat three defenders before crossing for the opening goal. Lewandowski's header was saved but Roberto turned home the rebound.

Roberto then turned provider, coming inside from the left before teeing up Lewandowski to fire home from 18 yards.

Both goals arrived in the final minutes before the break and came after a first half marked buy Torres.

The former Manchester City forward shot just wide in the 22nd minute and was a constant threat on the right with his dribbling.

Moments before Roberto's opener, Torres set up a chance for Lewandowski at the far post, but he could not head home.

Barça took their foot off the gas after the break but still managed to hold on to a 17th clean sheet in 22 league games.

Cadiz will feel they should have got one back. Roger Marti had a goal ruled out for a Fali foul on Marc-Andre ter Stegen just before and substitutes Christopher Ramos and Anthony Lozano both came close.

Lewandowski also clipped the top of the bar for Barça but there were no goals to add in the second half.
