The French defender came in for the Uruguayan just minutes before kick off

Samuel Umtiti came into the Barcelona side at the last minute against Granada on Saturday after Ronald Araujo got injured in the warm-up.

Araujo was due to start alongside Oscar Mingueza, with Gerard Pique injured and Clement Lenglet suspended, but had to drop out minutes before kick off.

The Uruguayan did not feel great in the warm-up and preferred not to take any risks, with France international Umtiti coming into the side instead.

Umtiti had hardly featured under coach Ronald Koeman since returning from a knee injury and was drafted in to make his first start against Granada.

Barça will hope Araujo isn't out for any length of time and will also have Lenglet back for their next game as he will have served his ban.
