The Uruguayan has been in fine form, scoring and creating goals
Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has been named La Liga's Player of the Month for December after scoring and assisting a number of goals for the league leaders. In the six games he played during the month, he scored three goals and set up six more.
Suarez started the month by setting up Lionel Messi's winner at Atletico Madrid. He scored himself and set up another against Mallorca -- and repeated that against Real Sociedad. Then, against Alaves, he scored one and set up three in an impressive performance.
The Uruguayan striker's form has continued into January. He scored one and set up Arturo Vidal for another against Espanyol at the weekend and has now been involved in his side's last 10 goals in the league.
In total, Suarez has scored 14 goals in 22 games this season, with 11 of them coming in 17 league games and another three in five Champions League outings. Next up is the Spanish Supercopa.
