The French forward is convinced he wants to stay at Barcelona and renew his contract

FC Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembélé has turned down a big offer from Saudi Arabia. According to reports from 'Footmercato', Al-Nassr have tried to lure the French international with an annual contract worth 40 million euros over the next five seasons. That is 200 million euros in total.

The total amount of the operation reached 250 million euros, as the Saudi club was also willing to pay the 50 million euros that appear in Dembélé's contract as a termination clause.

Despite the attractiveness of the proposal, the response of the French forward, who is negotiating a new deal at Camp Nou, was to reject it. His priority has always been to stay at Barcelona. Before the start of the pre-season, he told his coach, Xavi Hernandez, that he was going to stay at Barcelona.

Al-Nassr are investing heavily in transfers this summer, having signed Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo in the last winter transfer window. They invested more than 40 million euros in the signings of Fofana and Brozovic from Lens and Inter Milan respectively, and are now looking for new reinforcements to continue to grow.
