Chilean newspaper La Cuarta have reported a two year deal for the midfielder

There are no doubts that Arturo Vidal is going to be one of the key players in the transfer market for Barcelona this summer.

The Chilean could leave the club for Inter Milan as part of the Lautaro Martinez deal and reports in Chilean outlet La Cuarta has confirmed talks are underway.

According to La Cuarta, Vidal is in talks over a two year deal plus an optional third year, but there's still no agreement over his salary because his demands are high. In fact, he could become the Italian side's best-paid player.

Citing sources close to the player, the outlet says "they're negotiating the salary after talks with (Inter coach) Antonio Conte. Arturo has spoken many times with him because he's a player he really wants and they're trying to convince him.

"Arturo wants a salary similar to what he was earning at Bayern and at Barcelona and they're discussing those terms at the moment."

The Chilean midfielder wanted a long-term project because he believes he can lead a competitive project in Europe -- he's still in top shape. Juve have also shown an interest in recent days but Vidal would prefer Inter because of their long-standing interest.
