Griezmann's sister Maud revealed what the Catalan club told her
Antoine Griezmann revealed the arguments Barcelona used to try and convince him to move to Camp Nou.
A conversation between the Atletico Madrid forward and his sister, Maud, who represents him, was aired on Movistar on Thursday.
Maud explained to him the chat she had with Barça's people. The Catalan club said they were aware they could not compete with Atletico financially due to their high wage bill and Fair Play rules, so their argument was based on sporting reasons.
"At Barça, you will earn less than at Atletico, but they've told me it's been three years since they won the Champions League and they want to win it with you. It will be more difficult to win it with Atletico," Maud said.
