Barça transfer news: Dani Olmo wins the battle with Adama Traore
The Catalan club have made an approach for the Dinamo Zagreb attacker
Adama Traore and Dani Olmo are two ex-Barcelona players doing well in Europe at the moment. They both left the club in search of regular football and now are both serious contenders to go to Euro 2020 with Spain next summer.
Olmo is a reference in the Dinamo Zagreb team. He has played in the Champions League this season and almost helped the Croatians reach the last 16. Barça have been impressed -- as have many of Europe's top teams -- and have even approached Zagreb to make a first offer.
Meanwhile, Adama Traore has become a phenomenon in the Premier League. His physique has caught the attention and he has excelled in the Wolverhampton Wanderers team. He's starred in more than one win against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side. His pace and power make him a nightmare for defenders. He has also matured in the final third.
Curiously, in a poll ran by a fan and known influencer on Barça on social media, supporters of the Spanish champions have given their backing to Olmo when asked: 'If you had to choose between the two, which one would you bring back to Barcelona?'
It seems Barça fans are more excited by the possibility of re-signing Olmo, who left when he was 16. Let's see what happens with the two players in January...
