Barça target Sergiño Dest won't play for Ajax until his future is resolved
The player doesn't want to pick up an injury that could cost him a move to an elite side
Sergiño Dest has made up his mind and knows his future lies away from Ajax. He wants to move this summer.
According to 'De Telegraaf', the youngster has asked Ajax not to play him until his future has been resolved because he doesn't want to risk picking up an injury.
Now that Nelson Semedo looks set to join Wolves in a €30m deal, Dest is viewed as the ideal replacement. The money from Semedo's sale could also be used to bring Eric Garcia back to the Camp Nou.
Right now, Bayern Munich appear best placed to land Dest. However, he would be open to hearing what Barça have to offer before he makes a decision.
Josep Maria Bartomeu said Barça would need to sell before they could buy. With Semedo almost out of the door, it'll be interesting to see where that money is reinvested.
