Barca target Memphis Depay overtakes Van Basten
The Dutch forward hit two against the Scots on Wednesday night
Memphis Depay scored twice for Holland on Wednesday night against Scotland and it took him to 25 goals for the Dutch national team.
He has netted one more than Marco van Basten managed. Depay has 28 goals for club and country this season. His numbers are better still if we look at just 2021. In 27 hames he has 18 goals and 10 assists.
Barcelona are close to signing him and for free at that, making him a very good purchase.
The Depay operation is somewhat dependent on Ronald Koeman staying at the club.
