The Catalan club announced the deal worth up to €60m on Thursday

FC Barcelona's marketing department is constantly working to help the club gain financial muscle and room for manoeuvre to act in the transfer market and strengthen the squad.

On Thursday, the club announced a "multi-year" sponsorship deal with TP Vision, the company responsible for the design, manufacture and sales of Philips TV, Philips Sound and AOC Audio products.

As SPORT have learned, the agreement signed by Barça and TP Vision, which will highlight Ambilight TV technology, is for three fixed years and two optional years.

Joan Laporta's mandate will end in 2026 and the president has opted for this commercial alliance format so that, in the event of changes in the institution's governance, it will be up to the new hieracrchy to determine whether or not they wish to remain linked to the company dedicated to the world of visual entertainment.

Barça will earn more and more money from its sponsorship with TP Vision. The first season, €8 million; the second, €10m; the third and fourth, €12m; and the fifth, €14m. The last two seasons, as we have pointed out, will be optional.

Beyond the financial amounts agreed and the presence of the Ambilight TV logo on the sleeve of the shirt, the multinational Philips will also be responsible for providing audiovisual infrastructure for the revamped Spotify Camp Nou.
