Barcelona are on their way to Riadh, where Xavi Hernandez's side will face Boca Juniors in the Diego Maradona Cup on Tuesday.

After drawing 2-2 with Osasuna on Sunday, Barça hope the fixture will serve to help them forget the critical situation they face domestically before two final league games before the Christmas break.

Barça set off for Saudi Arabia on Monday morning and will train at the Mrsool Park Stadium at 20.00h local time, with right-back Dani Alves, who is in line to make his second debut for the club, and coach Xavi Hernandez due to speak to the media beforehand.

In addition to Alves and the other available first-team players, Xavi has taken several youngsters as part of the 28-man expedition for the game, including Guillem Jaime, Mattheus, Mika Mármol, Comas, Álvaro Sanz, Ilias and Ferran Jutglà.
