It's never been smooth sailing when it comes to the Neymar transfer saga and it doesn't appear the last few days are going to be any different. Barça have officially rejected PSG's counter-offer of "just cash" to complete the deal for the Brazilian. According to SPORT's sources, Barça still haven't ruled out a deal being reached for Neymar.
The move to reject PSG's proposal is to make the situation clear to PSG: players must be included to bring down the overall cost of a deal (€215m).
Sources at the club have told this newspaper that Barça haven't ruled out signing Neymar this weekend. Conversations remain ongoing and until the window closes on the 2nd September, anything is possible.
Barça are still hopeful of convincing Dembele to join PSG on loan but that's proving to be difficult.
