FC Barcelona has issued a statement explaining that the last five presidents of the club met last night for dinner together. A meeting was organised in which Bartomeu, Sandro Rosell, Enric Reyna, Laporta and Gaspart himself, who requested it, took part.

"They dined in a relaxed meeting that aimed to consolidate and strengthen the unified position of the Barcelonistas in the face of the attacks and tremors that are shaking the life of the club, and which have increased recently," said the Catalan club's statement.

The current president, Joan Laporta, took up the proposal put to him by ex-president Joan Gaspart at the General Assembly of Members and Compromisarios held last Saturday, aimed at consolidating an unwavering position to improve Barcelona's cohesion.

At the meeting, the current situation at Barcelona was analysed and positions were agreed, which in summary became a position of support for the interests of the club, especially in matters related to the attacks that FC Barcelona has suffered incessantly throughout its history and especially at the present time.
