Barça's plan: Erling Haaland and low-cost arrivals

The Norwegian forward is the hottest name on the transfer market going forward

Barcelona’s plan is set. Erling Haaland is the main priority for next season and they are working hard on that.

Joan Laporta is offering the Norwegian 190 million euros in a five year deal. That’s the proposal economically, and Xavi travelled to Munich to meet Haaland with Jordi Cruyff to explain the sporting offer.

The club will use their economic power on the striker and elsewhere look for cheap or free options. There are three deals that are advanced: Christensen, Azpilicueta and Kessie.

Both Chelsea players are quite versatile and can play in different roles. Azpilicueta can even be used at left back if needed, a position where Barcelona might look to reinforce too.

Jose Luis Gaya of Valencia is a target, with his contract expiring in 2023 at Mestalla.
