Barca negotiating over Rey Manaj with Portuguese side Famalicao
The B team top scorer is poised to move on to new surroundings
Barca B’s Pichichi could be packing his bags this summer. Rey Manaj has been one of the most decisive players for the youth team but now is about to leave.
Barca and Portuguese side Famalicao are negotiating for him, per A Bola. It remains to be seen if it will be a loan with option to buy or a classic transfer deal. The Portuguese club finished ninth in the top flight last season, with 40 points.
The forward has a Barca contract until 2023. He arrived in January 2020 from Albacete for 2 million euros. Rey Manaj is a forward who has played for Inter Milan, Pescara and Granada among others, at 24 years of age.
During the season and a half that he’s played for Barca B, he has scored 16 goals in 31 games. His numbers allowed the team to get into the play-offs.
