The Bosnian attended the media ahead of the game against his former side Juventus

Miralem Pjanic is back in Turin this week but this time as a Barcelona player set to face his former side Juventus in the Champions League. It will be a special game for him.

"I am very happy to be here, playing against my old club," he said in a news conference on Tuesday. "I am excited to be here. I spent four really good years here, good memories.

"But I am here to play and prepare for the game, a difficult game against a team that, like us, wants to win the group. It be a very difficult game, we have to be prepared."

STARTING GAMES

Pjanic has not started a league game since joining Barça but did start against Ferencvaros in the Champions League last week.

"Of course I want to play from the star, that's normal," he added. "I am good, at the manager's disposition, I want to help the team. I can give the team a lot of things.

"But the only thing that concerns me is that team does well in the league and in Europe. Things in La Liga aren't going as we want at the moment, we dropped some points. Bu the season is very long and the team has the quality to do good things."

The Bosnian's not played because Busquets and De Jong have so far been preferred ahead of him.

"There's competition at any big club," he said. "It's normal. I am here to help: the club, the team. It's normal that I want to play. I think the three of us can play together. But it's a decision that doesn't depend on me. I can just train well, as I am, then the coach decides."
