Barça midfielder De Jong taken off against Celta Vigo with first half knock

Frenkie de Jong was substituted in the 36th minute of Barcelona's game against Celta Vigo on Saturday after coming off badly in a challenge with Bamba.

The Dutchman tried to steal the ball but the Celta midfielder fell on him. The Dutchman played for a while but later limped off.

In the end Xavi had to substitute him, with Gavi coming on to replace him after a lengthy warm up.

It left Oriol Romeu playing at the base of the move alongside Gavi, with ilkay Gündogan and Joao Felix at the top of the box.

Barça will hope the injury to De Jong, who has started eery game this season, is nothing serious.
