Only injured duo Vermaelen and Umtiti won't make the trip

Ernesto Valverde has called up every available player, including Lionel Messi, for Wednesday's friendly in South Africa against Mamelodi Sundowns FC.

The only first team players not making the trip are injured defenders Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen. Barça B players Carles Aleñá, Jorge Cuenca, Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta y David Costas will travel, though.

Messi missed the Levante loss on Sunday and didn't train with his teammates but will take part in the game which has been arranged to celebrate 100 years since the birth of Nelson Mandela.

The game will be played at Soccer City -- now known as the First National Bank Stadium -- in Johannesburg, where Andres Iniesta scored the winning goal in the World Cup final in 2010.

Valverde's squad is:

Ter Stegen, Cillessen, Semedo, Piqué, Rakitic, Busquets, Denis Suárez, Iniesta, Suárez, Messi, Dembélé, Coutinho, Paulinho, Paco Alcácer, Jordi Alba, Digne, Sergi Roberto, André Gomes, Aleix Vidal, Yerry Mina, Aleñá (26), Ruiz de Galarreta (40) -- both banned for Barça B this weekend -- and Jorge Cuenca (41).
