Juve first need to sign a replacement before letting the forward leave

Barcelona won't give up on Alvaro Morata and the player knows that, with patience, he could get a move to Camp Nou this month.

Despite the fact Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri saying the striker won't leave this month, the reality is the Italian clb are waiting on Paris Saint-Germain for Mauro Icardi. Negotiations are ongoing but there's no agreement yet, although Morata's edging towards Barça.

Barça's biggest ally is Morata himself, who's communicated his desire to move this month. Juve don't plan to exercise their option to make his loan from Atletico Madrid permanent in the summer but do want to sign a replacement before letting him leave. PSG aren't making it easy, though. Juve will keep trying for Icardi.

As soon as Juve strike a deal for Icardi, they will open the door for Morata. The rest of the operation with Atletico is already advanced. Barça want an 18-month loan. Atletico would prefer to sell, but there could be a solution. Time will be a factor, while Barça need to make room on their wage bill, but everything is on track.
