"Barça have made Dani Alves a good offer, he now has the last word"

Barcelona vice president Jordi Mestre says Barcelona have made Dani Alves a "good offer" to continue at the club and it is now up to the Brazilian full-back to make his mind up.

Alves's contract expires at the end of the month, and he appeared to say goodbye in an emotional speech on Sunday night at Camp Nou.

However, Mestre insists the door is not shut on the defender and urged him to make a decision quickly.

"Dani Alves's contract ends on June 30 and we want him to continue, if we didn't we would not have made him an offer," Mestre explained at Aleix Vidal's presentation.

"What we have done is as a thanks for all he has brought [to the club]. It is a good offer and we want him to stay with us.

"The decision is now his. The offer is the last one, so now he has the last word. You must remember that this board, because of the election, will [resign] soon, so he must make his decision quickly."

Mestre also said he has no doubts that Luis Enrique will continue as manager of Barcelona.

"There is no reason to debate whether he will continue," he added.

"He has one more year on his contract. We are happy with him and there is no problem.
