The Brazilian did not train with the rest of the squad this morning

The announcement of Neto as the new goalkeeper of the newly promoted Premier League club, Bournemouth, is a matter of hours away. With Barça's permission, the Brazilian goalkeeper has been absent from morning training with the rest of the Blaugrana squad to travel to England and close his transfer.

Neto and Barça have reached an agreement to terminate his contract that tied him to the club until 2023. The Blaugrana club will not receive any fees for the transfer of the Brazilian; as was the case with Mingueza and Riqui Puig.

The exit operation at Camp Nou is still underway, having taken care of Coutinho, Trincao, Rey Manaj, Wagué, Dani Alves, Adama, Luuk de Jong, Lenglet and the aforementioned Mingueza and Riqui Puig. Next in line are Umtiti and Braithwaite; and a departure is still on the cards for Dest, De Jong, Pjanic, Nico, Collado, Memphis and Abde.

Neto, therefore, will no longer wear the Blaugrana shirt after three seasons in which he has failed to challenge Ter Stegen for the starting spot. 21 games in three years, in which he has conceded 20 goals, keeping a clean sheet on seven occasions. He will be replaced by Iñaki Peña.
