Barça are furious with Umtiti as defender refuses to leave Camp Nou

Barça are growing impatient with Samuel Umtiti's attitude. The French defender, who has refused to accept the reality of his situation, has shown a total reluctance to even listen to offers. He is determined to see out the remainder of his contract, despite being told by Ronald Koeman that he doesn't feature in his plans.

The Catalan club have told the player that his attitude is unacceptable.The fact that he isn't willing to even consider the offers, which could provide him with an opportunity to get back to the level that he was previously playing at, has angered the club.

Barça will keep trying to arrange a move

Barça are pulling out all the stops to try and arrange a move away from Camp Nou. As reported by SPORT yesterday, the club are concerned that Umtiti will decide to stay beyond the end of the transfer window. As such, Barça officials are now intensifying negotiations. They will sit down with the player in the next few days to insist that he re-considers the various offers that are currently on the table.

If that tactic doesn't work, more drastic measures should not be ruled out.
