The club feel if there's no resolution to the appeal Neymar can play

Luis Enrique will name his squad for the game first thing on Sunday morning

Barcelona are determined to have Neymar in their squad for Sunday's Clasico against Real Madrid, SPORT have learned, despite the doubts surrounding the Brazilian's ban.

The club submitted an appeal to Spain's Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAD) on Friday and believe that until that has been resolved, Neymar's three-game suspension should be suspended. TAD responded on Saturday saying the ban is effective, but the club still believe otherwise until there's an actual resolution.

As things stand, Barça will include Neymar in the party that travels to Madrid and could then name him in the squad, too. Luis Enrique said he's prepared for both scenarios -- with and without the 25-year-old.

"Barça continue to wait for TAD's resolution of the appeal," the club said in a statement on Saturday evening.

If Barça decide to play Neymar at the Bernabeu, believing that the santion is not effective, they could risk being sanctioned themselves iff it's later deemed their interpretation of the rules is wrong.
